- LifeWork Training and Development provides training for organisations delivering Mental Health, Social Care, Vocational and Educational Services and other organisations working with adults and young people affected by psychosis and complex mental health or behavioural problems.
- LifeWork Organisational Training increases the ability of delivery and managerial staff to understand the impact of and engage with people affected by psychosis and complex mental health problems. This improves services’ effectiveness and ability to achieve their objectives.
- LifeWork Organisational Training is provided at clients’ venues or at conveniently accessible public venues.
Objectives
- To introduce the Psychodynamic Development Model of Psychosis with the aim of increasing understanding of psychosis, and how psychosis affects clients’ / service users’ motivation to engage with services and benefit from interventions.
- For participants to learn how to apply the Psychodynamic Development Model of Psychosis as a complementary approach to increase the effectiveness of health and social care interventions.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own experiences of working with people affected by psychosis or complex mental health problems to the workshop to facilitate learning through experience.
